Uproot Clean Washer Cleaner: Which Tablets Fit Your Home?
As Amazon Associates, we earn from qualifying purchases. This means we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you if you click through and make a purchase.
Uproot Clean is best known among pet owners for tackling fur on clothes and in laundry, and its washing machine cleaner tablets extend that focus to the washer drum itself, where hair, detergent residue and damp lint can collect. Running a cleaning cycle before you leave on a trip is a simple habit: a washer that sits closed and damp for a week or two is exactly where musty smells develop, and it is much nicer to come home to a drum that has been freshly cleaned.
The five products here are all made by Uproot Lint LLC, the company behind Uproot Clean, but two are sold under the Fursprint brand name, and they differ mainly in strength label and pack size: standard and Pro 24-packs for pet owners, an Ultra 24-pack labeled 40% stronger, a Turbo 12-month supply labeled 5x stronger, and the Laundry Cycle Pro, a 3-step pet hair kit for the laundry rather than the drum.

The Uproot Clean Washing Machine Cleaning Tablets are the core product in this lineup: a 24-pack of washer cleaning tablets aimed at pet owners. The listing gives the model number wm-tabs-1 and a flat package of 7.5 x 7 x 1 inches weighing 11.22 ounces.
That is where the listing’s detail ends. It does not include a product description, ingredients, a recommended schedule, or whether the tablets suit front-loading, top-loading or high-efficiency machines. Washer cleaning tablets in general are dropped into an empty drum and run on a hot or dedicated cleaning cycle, but follow the package directions for these specific tablets rather than assuming a routine.
These suit a pet owner who wants a straightforward starting point from the brand itself. If you want a labeled stronger formula, the Ultra and Turbo tablets are the options, and our guide to Uproot tabs for washing machines covers how the brand’s tablets are typically used.

The Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets Pro are listed under the Fursprint brand, with Uproot Lint LLC named as manufacturer. Like the standard Uproot Clean tablets, it is a 24-pack for pet owners, and its package is almost the same weight at 11.22 ounces, slightly slimmer at 7.5 x 6.5 x 0.7 inches.
The listing does not explain what makes this the “Pro” version compared with the standard tablets. There is no description, ingredient list or directions in the data. Because the package weight is identical, it is hard to judge any difference from the listing alone.
This is an option if you find it in stock when the standard tablets are not, or if you specifically prefer the Pro label. If you want a clearly stated strength claim instead, the Ultra tablets say 40% stronger and the Turbo tablets say 5x stronger.

The Uproot Clean Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets Turbo are labeled 5x stronger and sold as a 12-month supply. The package is the largest and heaviest tablet pack here at 8.62 x 8.31 x 1 inches and 1.48 pounds.
Two things are missing from the listing. It does not state the tablet count, so “12 month supply” depends on the schedule the brand intends, which is not given here. It also does not explain what the 5x comparison is measured against. The heavier package does suggest more product than the 24-packs.
This suits a household that washes pet bedding often or wants to stock up once and run a cleaning cycle before every trip without reordering. If you would rather try the brand in a smaller pack first, the standard or Ultra 24-packs are lower commitments.

Uproot Clean Laundry Cycle Pro for Pet Hair on Clothes
8.8/10 Our score
Best for: Removing pet hair from laundry itself
What the listing says
- COMPLETE 3-STEP SYSTEM FOR PET HOMES: The fur-fighting Washing Machine Cleaning Tablets Pro, Laundry Sheets Pro,…
- WASHER CLEANER TABLETS PRO Powered by FurGUARD enzymes to dissolve hidden fur, dander oil, and musty residue in drum & seals.
- FURCLEANSE DETERGENT SHEETS Pre-measured, zero-mess laundry pet hair catcher sheets break static bonds to release embedded pet hair during wash cycles.

- ZERO TIME – MAXIMUM RESULTS The ultimate cat & dog hair remover for laundry set seamlessly upgrades your everyday wash.
- TRULY SAFE FOR PETS & FAMILIES: Septic-safe, non-toxic, and safe for all laundry types.
Pros
- 3-step pet hair system
- Light package, 8.78 oz
Cons
- Steps and contents not listed
- Not a drum cleaner per listing
The Uproot Clean Laundry Cycle Pro is a different kind of product. Its title calls it a 3-step pet hair remover for laundry, which points to removing fur from clothes and bedding during washing rather than cleaning the washer drum. The package measures 8.19 x 6.57 x 1.57 inches and weighs 8.78 ounces.
The listing does not describe the three steps, what is in the box, or how many uses it covers. Pet hair that comes off in the wash often ends up in the drum, the filter and the lint trap, so a hair remover and a drum cleaner can work together, but we cannot confirm from the listing whether this kit includes any drum-cleaning component.
Choose this if your real frustration is fur on fresh laundry, especially before packing for a trip. If your issue is a smelly or dirty drum, any of the four tablet products is the more direct fit, and the brand’s Uproot machine cleaner range is covered in more detail in our separate guide.

The Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets Ultra 40% Stronger are another Fursprint-branded product made by Uproot Lint LLC. It is a 24-pack labeled 40% stronger, and at 15.2 ounces the package is heavier than the other 24-packs, which fits with larger or denser tablets, though the listing does not say so.
As with the other listings, there is no description, no ingredient list and no explanation of what the 40% is compared against. The listing does not say whether these are aimed at pet owners specifically.
These suit readers who want a labeled stronger tablet in a 24-pack rather than committing to a full year’s supply. If you want the strongest label and the biggest supply, the Turbo tablets are the step up.
Before you choose
How to Choose the Right Uproot Clean Washer Cleaner
First, decide whether you are cleaning the washer or the laundry. The four tablet products are washer cleaners. The Laundry Cycle Pro is described as a pet hair remover for laundry, so it answers a different problem.
Next, pick a strength label. The standard Uproot Clean tablets and the Pro tablets list no strength claim. The Ultra tablets are labeled 40% stronger and the Turbo tablets 5x stronger. None of the listings explains the baseline, so treat these as the brand’s own relative labels.
Then consider supply. Three of the tablet products come in 24-packs, and the Turbo tablets are sold as a 12-month supply without a stated count. If you only want to clean the drum before trips, a 24-pack may last a long time; if you run cleaning cycles frequently, the Turbo supply means fewer reorders.
Finally, note the branding. The Pro and Ultra tablets appear under the Fursprint name, but all five listings name Uproot Lint LLC as manufacturer. For a pre-trip routine, run a cleaning cycle, then leave the washer door or lid open while you are away so the drum can dry out, which is the general advice for preventing musty smells. For the brand’s other cleaning products, see our look at Uproot cleaner tablets.
Questions people ask
FAQ
Is Fursprint the same company as Uproot Clean?
The Fursprint-branded Pro and Ultra tablets list Uproot Lint LLC as manufacturer, the same company named on the Uproot Clean listings. They are sold under a different brand name.
How often should I use Uproot Clean washer tablets?
The listings do not state a schedule. The Turbo tablets are sold as a 12-month supply, which implies a regular routine, but check the package directions for the recommended frequency.
Do these tablets work in front-loading and top-loading washers?
None of the listings specifies machine compatibility. Confirm on the product page or package before use, especially for high-efficiency machines.
Is the Laundry Cycle Pro a washing machine cleaner?
Its title describes it as a 3-step pet hair remover for laundry. The listing does not mention cleaning the drum, so pair it with one of the tablet products if you need both.
What does 5x stronger mean on the Turbo tablets?
The listing uses “Turbo 5xStronger” in the title but does not explain what it is compared against. Treat it as the brand’s own strength label within its range.
Should I clean my washer before a trip?
A cleaning cycle before you leave, followed by leaving the door or lid open to dry, is a common way to keep a closed-up washer from developing odors while the home sits empty.
Prices, specifications and the feature lines above are read from the product listing and can change without notice. Scores are out of 10, based on listed specifications and buyer feedback; nothing on this page is written from handling the product.
